Risk to Seabirds

Deadly by Location:

The East Coast of Scotland is one of the most densely populated areas and largest feeding ground for seabirds.  Guillemots, gannets, puffins, kittiwakes numbers are already in decline – with starvation being the biggest potential risk (in addition to blade strike) from a windfarm of this size.

This will kill seabirds due to turbine strike or starvation due to displacement.

And it is not just seabirds. The entire ecosystem could be affected.

That’s fish, seals, dolphins, crustaceans…
