Scotland's seabirds are already in crisis. Puffins, kittiwakes, guillemots, razorbills and gannets are facing declining populations, disease outbreaks and increasing pressure on their food supplies. Yet Berwick Bank is planned in the heart of waters they depend upon for survival.
The developer's own assessments predict the deaths of thousands of seabirds every year. Conservation organisations have warned that the project could become one of the most damaging offshore wind developments for seabirds anywhere in the world.
We support renewable energy.
We support action on climate change.
But renewable energy must not come at the cost of Scotland's internationally important seabird colonies.
This is the wrong project in the wrong place.
Join us in calling for Berwick Bank to be stopped and for offshore wind to be located where it works with nature, not against it.
